Jonathan D. Woods

Jonathan earned his B.A. in English/Philosophy from the University of New Mexico, magna cum laude. He also received his J.D. from the University of New Mexico in 2015, earning the course award for top grade in evidence and the business and tax clinic. Jonathan practices in the areas of civil litigation and trial strategies, with an emphasis on personal injury, premises liability, and landlord-tenant issues . Prior to joining the Hatcher Law Group, P.A., Jonathan did plaintiff's work where he gained extensive litigation and trial experience. Jonathan handled multiple cases from start to finish, requiring him to develop not only a litigation strategy, but an overall case strategy. Jonathan also worked as an associate at the Law Offices of Michael Armstrong in Albuquerque, NM. While there, he presented in over fifty administrative hearings before Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. Jonathan is a member of the New Mexico State Bar and the Federal Bar; admitted to practice before the Federal District Court of New Mexico and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jonathan is a native of Santa Fe, NM and enjoys reading, traveling, tennis, rock climbing, and BBC Radio 4.
